<3 Gold

I got HG a couple days after it came out here in Scotland (26th March), and I've been playing it on and off ever since. It's like ... amazing. Everyone who doesn't have either HG or SS *coughGERVGETITNAOcough* should totally just run to the nearest Game shop and buy it right now. Go. Shoo. Stop reading this. GET IT.

Anyway, thought I may as well post my team. I've been on and off with them. Also, I totally need to train up quite a lot of them. |D

Anyways, I have 7 Gym Badges and here's my team;

Your Pidgeotto is really under levelled O.o

My preferred moves for a Froslass would be Destiny Bond, Hail, Blizzard and Shadow Ball/Water Pulse =D
Rapidash could use some other moves too. Its offensive stats are close so you should choose if you want it to be physical or special and build moves around that

Mmm, nice moves. o3o Yesterday I put Ice Shard over Heabutt because I have some weird dislike towards Normal moves. o3o
And I put Strength over Rapidash's Flame Wheel, I think. Or maybe it was Fire Spin. IDR. xD I desperately needed something that knew Strength. >_>

Last night when I got off my laptop I played HG for a while, and I got the 8th Gym Badge (oh gawd Clair is such a stuck up pig ._.) and caught Ho-Oh - with a Fast Ball. Yay. :3
So maybe I'll put Ho-Oh over Pidgeotto? Or I could always trade Pidgeotto through to Pearl with my brother's DS and go through the Pokemon League with Pidgeotto holding an Exp. Share.
Aaaallsoooo I was originally going to use the Red Gyarados, but now I'm thinking Dragonite. I caught a Dratini (why are they so hard to catch?) last night too, in the Dragon's Den, and Dragonites are cool. :3 (Also, that could be my Flyer. x3)

You should have been training everything evenly >_>

Ice shard is better over Headbutt just for the STAB. I wouldn't advise the Strength though :/
I never give HMs to my main team unless they can use them strategically in battle.

Using Ho-Oh over Pidgeotto is a big maybe. Once again, I don't like to use Legendaries in my party until AFTER I've done the main story but it's all up to you.
And you know how I hate those ugly Dragonite. Dragonair ftw! All it's missing is Dragon Claw :/

I'm not sure if I'm gonna use Rapidash anymore, actually. xD I was thinking of using a Smeargle with the moves that'd be useful against the E4. Though, the moves I've yet to choose. xD

You'd have to level the Smeargle and get it good attack stats :/

If I had a choice I'd use Suicune only <3

I have a level 30-odd Smeargle in Pearl, I think. It wouldn't take too long to level up. And attack stats aren't everything D':
But I guess I should really look at the stats before I teach it moves. o3o

Suicune is awesome! :3 I have one in Pearl. ^^

Mhm, even if you give it good attacks, if it has poor stats it's worth nothing against the E4

Actually the HG/SS elite four is really easy. I was training my team of Feraligatr, ArCanine, Kingdra, Umbreon, Machamp and Togekiss forever before I went and then when I got there I absolutely destroyed them. Morale of the story: Dont waste your life training to hard in Johto when you can beat the elite 4 and go train against higher lvls in Kanto.

@Dys; Ikr? :3 I got through them in 10 minutes. :3 I only used Meganium, Ampharos, Umbreon (ya, I changed my team x3) and Froslass - Lv.39, who pwn'd Lance's Lv.50 Dragonite. :O

I very well might get it in the next few days. My brother said he'd split the cost with me so I won't have to use all my money but I don't wanna buy it until I find my second DS so I can make a few trades >:3
